02. Fishgirl
roles: color designer - lighting designer
Fishgirl is a Webtoon by Ashley Trail (Otis BFA '25). I was the sole colorist for Trail, painting the flat colors, line art, and render.
I was provided with a written color script by Trail, but I would shift the hues of the scenes depending on the mood.

03. Hitchcock Criterion Collection

The Hitchcock Criterion Collection was designed with the theme of Hitchcock's love stories. Of course, these love stories would have a twist. So I would add themes of unease to the illustrations that would demonstrate that it isn't all romance.
One example that spanned the series would be the red/pinks mixed with a blue color palette.

04. Reseda Campaign

The Reseda Campaign was inspired by the Reseda Rising Campaign and Tongva culture. I did studies on visual similarities I found between the two and decided to theme my campaign around the ideas of layers.
Furthermore, I interviewed 3 Tongva artists to understand how their culture influences their art.

Power Rangers: Legacy is an IP-inspired story developed by a group of friends and me using the Power Rangers tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG) system. I intend to develop this story further into a comic series and have redesigned the campaign to be more cohesive.

Background Design
Backgrounds are probably my biggest delineation of style, but represent my need (and many people's need) for nostalgia and how I view the world through a nostalgic lens.
Graphic Design
When it comes to graphic design (similarly to my illustrations), I prefer a bold and hand-drawn style that captures the client's needs.

Traditional media always felt like an area where I was the weakest but in fact not only is it another strength of mine but another skillset I intend to upkeep.

I'm interested in all forms of the arts, with the most proficiency in digital media, motion design, construction, and multimedia entanglement.I am a queer Filipino artist born in Salinas, CA. My entire family pursues business, but all have a talent in the arts. My father had a way with graffiti, my mother with writing, and my sister in fashion and filmography.
